USB is the most reliable connection. It's also how you charge and how you flash firmware.
Steps
- Use the cable that came with the controller (or a known data-capable USB-C cable).
- Plug into a USB port on your PC or console.
- The device detects the controller within a few seconds.
- If nothing happens, try a different USB port — front-panel ports on PCs sometimes don't deliver enough power.
Tip: Many "charge cables" don't carry data. If a wired controller charges but isn't detected, swap the cable first.
