Most modern controllers can pair with several hosts, but switching between them requires repairing.
Steps
- Forget the current host from the controller — usually a long-press of the pairing button.
- Put the controller back in pairing mode.
- Pair with the new host.
- Switching back to the first host requires repairing again.
Tip: Some pro controllers have multiple Bluetooth profiles — those let you switch hosts with a button combo.
