Using one controller across PC, console, and mobile

Most modern controllers can pair with several hosts, but switching between them requires repairing.

Steps

1. Forget the current host from the controller — usually a long-press of the pairing button.
2. Put the controller back in pairing mode.
3. Pair with the new host.
4. Switching back to the first host requires repairing again.

Tip: Some pro controllers have multiple Bluetooth profiles — those let you switch hosts with a button combo.
