Pairing a controller via Bluetooth

Bluetooth pairing works the same way on every modern platform: put the controller in pairing mode, then accept it on the device.

Steps

1. Charge the controller for at least 10 minutes.
2. Hold the pairing button (usually the share/select button) until the LEDs flash quickly.
3. On your device, open Bluetooth → Add a device and choose the controller from the list.
4. Confirm — the LEDs go solid when pairing is complete.

Tip: Forget old controllers from devices you no longer use; many controllers can only remember one host at a time.
