How brackets and seeding work

Most IM Lab tournaments use single-elimination or double-elimination brackets.

Quick reference

• Single-elimination: one loss eliminates you.
• Double-elimination: lower bracket gives you a second chance.
• Seeding: based on rank, results, or random for open events.

Tip: Check your seed before the event — high seeds get a bye round and a later first match.
