Audio sounding bad on stream while sounding fine in headphones almost always points to encoder or routing issues.
Check this
- Your audio bitrate is at least 160 kbps for stereo streams.
- You're not picking up the headset speakers through the mic.
- No duplicate noise suppression is running (only one app should do it).
- Sample rate matches across all sources (48 kHz is the safe default).
Tip: Listen to your own VODs occasionally — your live monitor doesn't tell you what viewers actually hear.
