Tracking down random disconnects

Random disconnects are frustrating because they look random. They almost always have a pattern.

How to investigate

• Note the time and rough duration of each drop.
• Check whether they happen on Wi-Fi only or wired too.
• Look for patterns: time of day, after specific apps start, after rain (yes, really).
