Unlinking an account safely

Selling a console or switching platforms? Unlink the account first to avoid issues with the next owner or your new device.

Steps

1. Open Linked accounts and select the platform you want to remove.
2. Choose Unlink and confirm with your password and 2FA.
3. Sign out of any IM Lab apps on the device you're letting go.
4. Factory reset the device if you're selling or giving it away.

Tip: Some platform features (like cross-progression for a specific game) need a cooldown of 90 days before you can link a new account.
